Ryner's life is the suck and he would seriously HIT Sion if he wasn't guilt-tripping right now, and Zero thinks Aather is beyond stupid but is perfectly happy with his role as a knight and is making grate friends with vampires and other assorted crazies. SO LET'S QUESTION MEME.
As mentioned above, I play Night/Ryner and Thorn/Zero.
As mentioned above, I play Night/Ryner and Thorn/Zero.

What is Ryner's biggest issue regarding Sion joining Onyx?

Date: 2011-04-04 07:59 pm (UTC)But really, it bothers himself that Sion, who is already doing less than well, has essentially thrown himself in the middle of a power feud and that Sion chose the most difficult side on top of it. Because he knows that Sion will want to organize Onyx since Sion has been whining to Sterling about it for while. He knows that Sion doesn't believe he can control the situation so it bothers the heck of him that Sion is making such a foolish attempt when he has no real chance of winning. He thinks Sion is in over his head and now there's no way Sion can back out of it. Which sucks because Ryner wants Sion to relax once in a while and now he worries Sion will have even less opportunities for that. In other words, SION IS STUPID and makes him worry. :\
Tell me about Ferris and Breeze~.

Has Ryner made any friends on the new Teams yet? :3

Date: 2011-04-05 02:10 am (UTC)She also gives Ferris affection! Hand holding and kisses and whatnot. Ferris is extremely unaccustomed to it, but she can't... really complain? It's nice. So Marie is partly why Ferris is much fuzzier in Aather, not that it'd take any of the :| off when she needs to be a badass.
Which personae does Ryner like/trust the most?

Date: 2011-04-06 04:42 am (UTC)it's not late, it's differently on time.
Date: 2011-04-14 05:12 am (UTC)Then they got to know each other better, and she started to understand that he was afraid of who he was. Seeing him scared and sad about that made her feel bad, and she justified it at first by assuming it's because broken toys aren't particularly fun to play with. Then Marie suggests that she might care for Ryner. So it's all her fault, really, for planting an idea in her head that she wouldn't have come to as quickly. In canon, it's just the two of them, and she didn't have any outside party to act as a sounding board and help her sort things out.
When she got around to getting the memory of the two of them locked in Sion's office, she gets that he feels she and Sion can't even to start to understand what he's going through and that he thinks that the only way to relieve them of the burden that is his existence is to RUN AWAY. Total 180 from the lulz of putting him in a dress, so it's rather shocking to her. Then Sion explains that AS bearers are mistreated and feared and she feels... rather guilty for being such a brat. Then there's the issue of why Ryner comes back despite all that, and Sion suggests that she might be that reason and also expresses hopes that Ferris loves Ryner (so it's also the stupid king's fault). She also knows that she and Ryner exchanged rather personal words, so that kind of goes hand in hand with that suggestion, so she's come to the conclusion that she confessed to him.
This, plus large amounts of guilt regarding his AS angst led to more guilt. Combined with the issue that she maybe-confessed to him, and maybe-loves him made her struggle over how exactly to define what their relationship is, how she should be acting within that relationship and WHAT THE HELL IS LOVE ANYWAY? It made her worry if she's abusing him too much. It's also what makes her feel like she needs to pull her own weight workload wise, leading her to offer to help him out with all the assignments Sion gives them. So when he tells her that they're fine the way they are, it's a very nice reassurance to her. It also makes her feel like things would be alright even if she didn't label exactly what they have.

Date: 2011-04-14 05:12 am (UTC)In a dress antics were fun, and it sort of did the trick of distracting Ryner, but it wasn't as effective as she would have hoped, which made her feel like she was going about it the wrong way. So she tried to think of things that would make him happy directly, instead of just diverting his attention. Except no one was particularly helpful and she couldn't think of anything Ryner liked more than sleep. This was probably the worst time to meet Adachi and have him tell her how she thinks girls should be acting. It was bad enough that she felt fail for not being able to come up with something to help Ryner on her own, but to have someone saying what Adachi said just exacerbated it.
Which led to telling Ryner all about it, whereupon he gave her the confidence boost and reassurance she needed that she was fine the way she was, which is part of why he's generally endearing. After Three's game, Kida flat out says he thinks she loves Ryner. Since she feels kind of fuzzy on what love is, she asks him what it means to him and comes to the conclusion that it's kind of like being friends except more emotionally dependent on a person and with more physical displays of affection. While she's wary of emotional dependence, she feels like she can't deprive Ryner of emotional support, especially when he clearly needs it and won't seek it out actively because he thinks he doesn't deserve it. She doesn't want to think of herself as someone who needs that support either, but it feels nice to have someone tell you that they like you the way you are.
And defending who you are to someone else to boot.
So Adachi coming up and apologizing to her on Ryner's orders was a pleasant surprise and an ego boost, because she honestly never expected him to do more than just go "that guy's a bother, ignore him." So that really was the icing on a cake that's full of very confused dere thanks to a bunch of shippers on deck.
