Memory 9 - Trivial Neutral
May. 30th, 2011 06:32 pmMemory 9 - Talking with Tiir aka Sakurai and FukuJun have a moment.
Here to 3:49 and Here to 12;17.
I should note that I probably made a mistake here and this isn't exactly a trivial memory. |D;; Orrrr... a neutral one either. Whoops.
What he learns?
- Tiir is not just a crazy killer and actually cares about their kind.
- Tiir believes they are not humans and are actually superior to humans. Ryner doesn't believe the superiority thing but does accept that he is not nor will ever be human.
- His power manifested when he was a child. Tiir believes he was brainwashed to believe what he is is wrong because the humans are afraid of them.
- Tiir doesn't believe they can ever coexist with humans no matter how much Ryner cares for them because of what they are and how people will always see them. Ryner believes this to an extent, that he will also make things complicated for those who care about him. "The closer you get, the more it hurts."
- Tiir was born with his power and probably killed his mother. Despite this, Ryner knows that what Tiir is is a result of his experiences and does not view him as a monster. He does not judge.
- More information on the voice on his head that tells him to do things. Ryner sort of heard this in Aather the time he went nuts and tried to kill Ferris and Sion. He hears this voice in his nightmares but usually forgets them. These nightmares have intensified and become more frequent since Three's power cap is pissing off Alpha. Ryner will remember these dreams now and will be fairly aware that some part of him is very very bad indeed. He still does not understand what it is.
- He actually wants to stay with Tiir and see others like himself.
This memory basically serves as a reminder to Ryner of the detachment he must keep around humans if he doesn't want them or him to get hurt. Also lol that crazy voice in his head. This will also make him slightly more reluctant around others, not that he can stay away from people completely because of how Aather is. The memory also tells him that he can never get too close because he is not like them and there will always be a distance. It will upset him some because it sucks to learn that not only people view you as a monster but that you are also not human and can never truly belong with humans. Especially when coupled with the knowledge he received from Sion that he was just found when he was 5 and nobody even knows who he really is or his real name. He has no family or identity.
It also affects his judgment of others. Ryner was already reluctant to judge but now will be doing so even less, particularly if he feels that someone has chosen their path because of what they've been through or because of what they are. However, Ryner will still kick someone's ass if they are an asshole.
