[ If you had paid visit before, you might notice that where you start seems fairly familiar. But since most of you haven't… the first thing you'll notice is red. Dark red all around you. The sky, the ground—everything is red. It's impossible to make out anything among the color. But if you attempt to stare at any particular space for too long, you'll discover it pulses, flows.

And then there is a laugh that you are probably very acquainted with by now, only this time it’s LOUDER, wracking inside your skull. ]

FOOLISH WORMS! THIS IS MY DOMAIN NOW. YOU SHALL ALL PERISH. TORN ASUNDER. NOTHING LEFT.

Also, I futzed up by not putting up a mingle header. If you show up late and want to talk to Alpha in addition to/instead of the second NPC, let me know. I doubt many people really want to talk to Alpha though... ))

[ Welp. He gets half-way up... before a hidden guard cries out and blasts him with lightning magic. It won't kill him, but it probably also won't be fun. And there's a good chance he's going to fall. ]

Following the staircase brings you to secret passageway that leads into an office. Considering the piles and piles of papers littering various desks and the endless bookcases, it might be hard to tell who the office belongs to, were it not for the king’s seal resting on the desk in front of the window. The office feels both comforting and anxious, as if your emotions are conflicted about it.

A tattered bound group of papers pokes just barely out of one of the bookcases. A sheet of paper and a golden badge have also been left on the floor. A chair to the corner holds several sets of blood-stained folded clothes. There is also a fresh stick of dango and a glass key on the window desk. ]

[ Sob, the badge shouldn't be here. Ignore the badge.

However, the key looks like the ones knights give to heroes to allow them to enter either Sterling or Onyx. It comes with this interesting memory. ]

[ There a various reports on the state of some country named Roland: agricultural projects, hospitals, water projects, places for lost children and defense strengthening. Holding them makes you feel incredibly tired and also... guilty. ]
