RYNER HEART PT. 2 - Revised scheduling

New post since many things were rescheduled and reworked for Ryner's Heart.

REMINDER -- THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS HEART RUN:
1. Ryner's heart is a pretty scary place. Warnings for uber violence, death and general unpleasantness.
2. The endgame and second half of this heart run is a BOSS FIGHT. Characters and True Heart will face off against Ryner's god-demon possession, Alpha. This will not be easy and probably will involve a lot of violence and Alpha fucking you up with imagery as well. Non-combatants will also have ways to damage Alpha. (Tell me whether you want them in a safe place during the fight or in the fray. ) YOU CAN DIE but one of the heart's NPCs will bring you back. Death will still be unpleasant.
3. Characters share the heart with two other NPCs. Ryner's mom. :') And Reed. These are actual possessions, not figments of the heart. You can't affect/change them.
4. Half of the heart will be your general exploradora (similar in structure to Ryner's first run) and you will be able to affect some minor changes on Ryner. Note the warnings at the top. Exploradora does not mean safe. :x Alpha is still out to fuck with you, even before you face him in person. Tread with care.
5. Skills will totally be allowed in all areas, save two. For heart metaphor reasons. I'll let you know.

Looking for Thursday Feb. 20 (maybe Friday). COMMENT HERE WITH EMAIL AND BEST TIMES/DAYS FOR YOU IF INTERESTED. Due to the plot behind this heart, I'll have to limit sign-ups to CR. But really, if you know Ryner, you can probably play.

Yes, I know this is close to the GM game, but your end result will be POSITIVE so although elements may be traumatic, this should not DESTROY anyone before trauma game.

I am tentatively doing a post thing on Friday the 21st so I would be slower, but I think I can switch things around as needed...! Corvus is newish and has no skills so I would prefer him to be out of the fighting zone but I can roll with whatever. ...you can do whatever you want to Haruki if you need him /o/

UHM, gosh, probably abandoning Amethyst?? For Haruki. Leaving Amethyst and Yuki behind hits him very badly, he is too codependent. Or being willing to kill everyone for Kazuki...normal Haruki stuff. Forr Corvus right now it's just like, dead bodies. Dead children trauma!!

General prevalent feelings of worthlessness, whether it's believing she's weak, or believing she's unlovable. With a very likely side of sexual insecurity ('don't be a whore like your mother' is subtext she probably got a LOT from others.)

Siblings dying; loved ones in general dying; racism, rejection and prejudice (this last coming from people in Aather would hit particularly hard, as he'd be way less prepared for it) . . . you can also throw in things that mess with/overload his sensory perceptions, as long as it doesn't extend into complete loss of senses.

I don't have you on plurk so I'm going to sum up what I told the others.

Heart starts at 6 PM EST Thursday. It's okay if you're later. I'm going to run it as long as people want to play.

If someone obtains what is required to reach boss fight (since that is the objective of this run), I'll ping people that boss fight is happening in other thread while allowing people to continue exploring in alternate time. I would like to coordinate the endgame of boss fight so like the final blow or whatever, but we'll see where things are when we reach that stage. This should give people more overall flexibility. I don't want to be too stringent, like I was with Thorn's run. :x So there is a good chance that two timelines will be happening at the same time.

Uh, you can try the whole battery?? She is pretty damn sturdy when it comes to being mentally fucked with. I mean, her canon wasn't very nice, either . . . What are you most worried about?

I admit I've never seen Eureka 7 so I need some suggested points to poke at.

Racism is a sore point, though she views that as an issue of her world rather than Aather because everyone is pretty chill. She accepts that she cannot protect Amethyst in any way, and she was upset by having to fire on someone that she likes?? Oh, and she has extreme separation anxiety, because she hates isolation and being alone hence why she clings like a mother to Amethyst.

AS FOR TRAUMA, Kira's biggest ping would be control issues. She feels she has to be in control and really does not like having it. She also DESPISES not being able to help her friends which kind of ties into the control issues. There is also a fear of never being truly loved, losing the loved ones she has, and totally mindfucking everyone with her charm ability.

Mikage is endcanon so he is really, really hard to seriously faze now. He is a nice boy and will be appropriately upset at horrible things, but he doesn't really have any deep-set personal traumapings anymore.

BLINDNESS? Blindness and helplessness, especially combined, will freak him right out though. Heeee has a lot of discomfort with some kinds of possession, but the whole heartrun will be an exercise in poking that.
