Skill 1 - Military Training
Feb. 27th, 2011 01:04 amUm, Ryner's military training is... special to say the least. Considering it started when he was 6. Alpha Stigma bearers are seen as tools to exploit in Roland so the idea is to train them as warriors and use them up as much as you can before the bearer snaps and has to be put down like a rabid dog. Ryner trained under the fairly hardcore tutelage of his mentor Germer, with two other children especially gifted in magic so he had to be VERY GOOD AT DODGING. At age 10, he was able to best a teenage assassin. Actually, a few. His superiors liked to send people to kill Ryner to test him. They were sweet people, huh? At age 13, he was taking out (non-lethally) superiors when he disagreed with his missions. Aside from his training simply being INSANE and producing a very capable member of the Hidden Elites, Ryner also supplements his training with his natural intelligence. He's kind of a combat genius. My best description is Lelouch's brains meets Suzaku's skills. |D BUT Ryner is also a SUPER PACIFIST. Hell, in canon, he usually hides the shit out of his skills because ATTENTION DO NOT WANT so.
What does this mean for Aather?
Ryner will demonstrate prowess with hand-to-hand combat, dodging and general agile movements. As well as basic weapons training. Ryner doesn't care much for weapon-fighting, but he can do it. Ryner is also unlikely to use the most skillful (read: h@x) aspects of his training right now because he doesn't remember it yet so most stuff will just be reflexive action. But Ryner never instigates and only uses his skills for intervention, usually if someone needs help. Otherwise, he's his usual passive self. But yeah, he's going to be a lot more quick on his feet.
