Memory 41 - Trivial Negative
Jun. 21st, 2012 09:27 pmMemory 41: Fighting Luke
Memory goes here, ending at the explosion at Tiir's place.
What he learns?
- Fighting Luke who is here to kill him for betraying Sion.
- Luke believes Ryner is kind but he cannot let an AS bearer remain at Sion's side.
- Has set up the field with booby traps.
- Was willing to just let Luke kill him since it would be better.
- But Ferris intervened. He remembers this latter part from a memory Ferris showed him.
- Someone attacked Tiir's sanctuary.
What this means in Aather?
Ryner also has seen a chunk of this memory from sharing with Ferris, but the new stuff is what Sion said while fighting him. He can't dislike Luke for being such a good subordinate to Sion and wanting to protect him, even from Ryner. It also keys him into the sheer POWER of the people on Sion's side, which is both good and bad, considering Sion's current plans back home... This also gives him a better idea of exactly how he felt before Ferris arrived, the complete willingness to die, the same that he showed toward Germer in his other memory. The belief that the world is better off without him. He knows the people who care about him can't stand when he thinks that way, but sometimes it's hard not to when he just seems to make things worse... Though, right now, he's a bit more bolstered against that through Sion and Ferris in Aather.
He has a really bad feeling about what happened to Tiir...
