Non-Game Ryner Heart Version 2.0

**ETA: Because this wasn't initially clear and I'm sorry for that, this post is just for figuring out who wants to be involved, given the concept of the heart. I will figure out real dates and stuff later, and I see trauma is on the horizon so I'll have to take that into consideration with my timing too. So I'm not going to put a definite month here yet.**

Okay, so Ryner is almost out of Season 1 memories and ready to move onto Season 2, but before that can happen, he needs to deal with Alpha. This is where the heart game comes in.

I'm thinking of scheduling once I can give Amethyst time to pick up a few more memories. Let me know good times for you.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS HEART RUN:
1. Ryner's heart is a pretty scary place. Warnings for uber violence, death and general unpleasantness.
2. The endgame and second half of this heart run is a BOSS FIGHT. Characters and True Heart will face off against Ryner's god-demon possession, Alpha. This will not be easy and probably will involve a lot of violence and Alpha fucking you up with imagery as well. Non-combatants will also have ways to damage Alpha. (Tell me whether you want them in a safe place during the fight or in the fray. ) YOU CAN DIE but one of the heart's NPCs will bring you back.
3. Characters share the heart with two other NPCs. Ryner's mom. :') And Reed. These are actual possessions, not figments of the heart. You can't affect/change them.
4. Half of the heart will be your general exploradora (similar in structure to Ryner's first run) and you will be able to affect changes on Ryner. Note the warnings at the top. Exploradora does not mean safe. :x Alpha is still out to fuck with you, even before you face him in person. Tread with care.
5. Skills will totally be allowed in all areas, save two. For heart metaphor reasons. I'll let you know.

2. Did I miss where general interest gauging happened? I know that I don't have you on plurk, so it could just be me, but I haven't seen anything where you were asking if others were interested, especially with the high potential for fallout that you're looking at . . .

This is the general interest gauging. Nothing is set in stone. Which is why I didn't email mods yet. I was going to do that once I had a better idea of how many would be involved.

Okay, it sounded like it had to be done with the wording of the post, so I was confused and getting clarification. So, everything checks out now . . . Mmm, I will probably sit out as heart games can be pretty stressful for me along with the timing not being that great!

SOUNDS LIKE A GRAND OLD TIME

For the Boss Fight, I'd like to have Sol do combatant stuff, but maybe not if it involves super heavy duty magic and stuff that he wouldn't stand a chance against with just hand-to-hand and a knife. Do you think he could fight or would he be better suited as a noncombatant?

As for times, Friday/Saturday afternoons/evenings generally work best, though for weekdays I can generally do Monday and Wednesday evenings as well.

I would also point out that there's a trauma game near the end of November (on thanksgiving I believe), so ideally it would be nice to not overlap with that too closely.

Annabeth, cheerypapercut @ gmail, nnnnnot thanksgiving weekend (27-30) that's a terrible time for me, but if you're willing to let people run over the course of a few days then any time else works -- afternoons are better for me than evenings, but late nights also work too!

I am gone most of the weekends in November tho :O 1-3, 15-17, and Thanskgiving weekend are all out. :/ Onnnnn the other hand honestly with how Ven works in hearts these days, I am ok with missing some exploradora because he is utterly useless with exploradora and handwaving that he tagged along with somebody until bossfight idk. I'm available most of the rest of the time except in weekday afternoons, especially if I know something's happening.
