Drift... has not-negative feelings toward Zero! He personally wouldn't classify it as "like" because he doesn't get the concept of "liking" at the moment, but he definitely would prefer him over other people. He tends to view Zero as someone who just Knows Stuff because whenever they end up talking Zero seems to have some sort of proactive solution or a suggestion for whatever Drift starts complaining about. So, in that sense he appreciates Zero being patient and willing to listen, and he feels the most comfortable whining at Zero because he has yet to receive a negative reaction for doing so. While he doesn't really feel he knows or understands Zero, he... idk. I don't know how to put it without making it sound like he's deredere :|a LIKE. If in their conversation in the Mirror of Erised post Zero had agreed that what he was doing was just out of his obligation to be knightly, Drift would have put more mental distance between them because w/e it's not like you care about talking to me personally!. So there is not a lot of mental distance right now. And sort of as a result of thinking of him less as a Knight Being and more just another person, he is more inclined to care about him kinda, since Zero has offered that, to a certain extent, to him.
