[ If you had paid visit before, you might notice that where you start seems fairly familiar. But since most of you haven't… the first thing you'll notice is red. Dark red all around you. The sky, the ground—everything is red. It's impossible to make out anything among the color. But if you attempt to stare at any particular space for too long, you'll discover it pulses, flows.

And then there is a laugh that you are probably very acquainted with by now, only this time it’s LOUDER, wracking inside your skull. ]

FOOLISH WORMS! THIS IS MY DOMAIN NOW. YOU SHALL ALL PERISH. TORN ASUNDER. NOTHING LEFT.

Also, I futzed up by not putting up a mingle header. If you show up late and want to talk to Alpha in addition to/instead of the second NPC, let me know. I doubt many people really want to talk to Alpha though... ))

We can't stay here this time, though. We have to find keys and defeat Alpha.

[ Gestures to the stew she's cooking ]

"It can afford you a tiny bit of shielding against his worst type of attacks."

I'd love to try some. It smells delicious!

Will it keep you safe as well? He can't attack you here, can he?

[ Her smile turns a bit sadder but still gentle. ]

"He can't do anything to me. Don't worry."

Good. He's already got a great deal to answer for.

[ She gestures to both the soup and the food around ]

"Any of it will offer temporary relief from his worst magic."

[taking a bowl and helping herself, with another small bow of thanks, and sticking her head out of the kitchen to let the others know what's up]

[ She just smiles and watches this in a very mother-like fashion. ]

[after she is done eating] Do you know if there are any keys in here, or anything that really needs fixing?

[ Sunset receives CONFIDENCE BOOST. ]

"There should be something in every area. They'll be associated with things that are damaged or missing. Maybe something that's hard to grasp. I can't be certain because I didn't create them. I'm just a participant, like you."

There was a book missing on the top shelf, next to Eclipse's... And another that doesn't have a title.

[ She looks puzzled ]

"A book missing... Were all the ones that were supposed to be there around? I'm afraid I don't know much about the details. I can only share the emotions that surround them. But... that's enough."

Well, we'll just have to figure it out as we go. Thank you.

[ Brighter smile ]

"Good luck."

[ She looks a bit more quiet. ]

"I'll do my best... "

[ Reassuring smile is back. ]
